Posted on March 25, 2014 at 8:50 PM

NFL.com's recent attempt to use bracketology to crown the greatest quarterback of all-time has failed miserably.

1st round botches: Quarterback's career QBS posted in parenthesis.

  • Russell Wilson (15.0) over Peyton Manning (432.5).
  • Rich Gannon (85.0) over Brett Favre (303.5).
  • Donovan McNabb (43.0) over Kurt Warner (138.0).
  • Drew Bledsoe (69.5) over Troy Aikman (111.5).
  • John Elway (137.0) over Dan Fouts (215.0).
  • Bart Starr (109.0) over Fran Tarkenton (326.5).
  • Terry Bradshaw (99.5) over Otto Graham (148.0).

2nd round botches: Quarterback's career QBS posted in parenthesis.

  • Drew Bledsoe (69.5) over Steve Young (216.5).
  • Donovan McNabb (43.0) over Rich Gannon (85.0).

The magnitude of incompetence displayed by fan-voting is almost too mammoth to articulate.
